Teaching of Psychology Special Issue: Creating an Anti-Ableist Psychology Curriculum and Teaching Environment

Teaching of Psychology logo

Our special issue of Teaching of Psychology on Creating an Anti-Ableist Psychology Curriculum and Teaching Environment is now published! This was a collaborative effort with several DARN members acting as editors, including Kathleen Bogart, Nazanin Heydarian, Allyson Hughes, Emily Lund, and Nicole Rosa.

As we write in our introductory article, we hope this issue serves as a resource for a new era of inclusive and representative psychology education.

Looking for more resources for teaching about disability and psychology?

We hosted a virtual conference on this topic a couple of years ago, and all the presentations are freely available!

DARN Co-Founder Kathleen Bogart developed a Psychology of Disability course at Oregon State University, which she recently revised with feedback from the DARN community. The syllabus and readings are available on her faculty page
